Talatal Ghar
A historic 18th-century structure built by Ahom ruler Swargadeo Rajeswar Singha. Originally a military base, it features three underground levels and four above-ground floors. Known for its secret tunnels and architectural brilliance, it reflects the grandeur of the Ahom dynasty.
Shiva Dol
Shiva dol is a group of structures comprising three Hindu temples of Sivadol, Vishnudol and Devidol shrines, and a museum. These are located on the banks of the Sivasagar tank, also known as the Borpukhuri tank, in the heart of Sivasagar, in the Indian state of Assam. The tank was constructed between 1731 and 1738 and the temples were built in 1734 by Bar Raja Ambika, queen of Ahom king Swargadeo Siva Singha (1714–1744)
Sivasagar Tank
The Sivsagar tank was built by Bar Raja Ambika, the chief consort of Siva Singha in 1733. A battle was fought against the Moamoria rebels In its vicinity in the reign of Gaurinath Singha.The Sivasagar tank, also known as the Borpukhuri tank, was built by constructing embankments and the water level thus created in the lake remains above the adjoining ground level.
Kareng Ghar
Kareng , also known as The Garhgaon Palace, is located in Garhgaon 15 kilometres from Sivasagar, Assam, India. The palace structures were made of wood and stone. In 1751 Sunenphaa, son of Sukhrungphaa, constructed the brick wall of about 5 kilometres in length surrounding the Garhgaon Palace and the masonry gate leading to it.
Charaideo Maidams
An UNESCO World Heritage Site, the maidams situated in Charaideo make the district an attractive tourist destination. Comparable to the pyramids of Egypt, the maidams are actually burial grounds of Ahom Kings and Queens. Pani Dihing Wildlife Bird Sanctuary
Pani-Dihing Bird Sanctuary is a 33.93-square-kilometre (13.10 sq mi) bird sanctuary located in Sivasagar district, Assam. It is 22 km (14 mi) away from Sivasagar town. This protected area was established as a Bird Sanctuary in August 1996 by the Government of Assam. It consists of over 270 species of birds.
Ghanashyam's House and Rudra Singha Park

Joysagar Tank
Joysagar Tank, also known as Joysagar Borpukhuri is a large tank located at Sivasagar district, Assam, India. The lake is 5 km from the center of the Sivasagar town. The lake has historical significance. This lake was formed on 1697, in just 45 days, in the memory of Joymoti Konwari, mother of Rudra Singha. The lake covers an area of 318 acres. The water level of the lake is 14 feet higher from ground level.
